YARMONICS is a festival of sonic art and new music exploring the relationship between sound and place in Great Yarmouth.
2019 is the second iteration.
It will consist of:
A day of performances on Saturday 21 September
An installation on the Lydia Eva
‘Lingering in the Golden Gleam’ – a residency by Open Music Archive
All events are free and open to all.
More information about each performance and event can be found on the YARMONICS Facebook page and one the YARMONICS website:
Grills Barbecue and Bar will be offering special YARMONICS deals including a vegan Mexican chilli.
The Great Yarmouth Carnival, organised by the Great Yarmouth Arts Festival, will be taking place on the same day – look out for crossovers and collisions as YARMONICS and the Carnival cross paths and combine.
We would like to thank all the venues for their support with this project. Great Yarmouth has a rich tapestry of spaces and places, and being able to explore them with sound can open our ears and eyes to experience them in new ways.
